– Deep distal decay and 2° caries in the mesial
– Truss access planned
– The truss of dentin in between may help with some cross-stabilization on an otherwise badly decayed tooth.
– Even in the case it doesn’t quantify to a significant number, all my therapeutic goals have been met with and I had more straight line access than I ever needed in this case
