Great case, what do you mean by this statement? In residency I was always taught that posts don’t reinforce roots and in fact that posts were contraindicated in canals with cracks. Thanks!
Hi Helen, when you prepare a canal to accommodate a post, then its surely a bad idea but when you passively bond a post well into a canal in the existing space then the effect is surely beneficial. Simply look t it this way “Would Gutta-percha in the same place as a post here make the root any stronger?”
