MIE: Untreated pal canal

White , 70 yo, male presented completely asymptomatic but with a buccal ST.  Tooth had a post and crown and patient did not want to have it removed.  CBCT  showed missed palatal canal. Access was done above the P cusp with the intention of locating and treating the missed canal only. Last PA is a one year follow-up. Pt. remains asymptomatic and functional.

This case highlights a successful conservative endodontic retreatment. A 70-year-old male, asymptomatic, presented with a buccal sinus tract. Despite my wisely the presence of a post and crown, and the patient’s preference to retain them, CBCT revealed a missed palatal canal.
