Calendar Working Hours

How to adjust working hours and calendar units.
– Keep in mind that the default settings are the most common, so changes are optional.
– Set your calendar working hours and colors by going to Setup, Program Setup, Calendar, Times and Colors.
– The first item on the form is the calendar time units.
– Users may choose between 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60-minute increments.
– The most popular is a 15-minute block.
– Note: the smaller the increments, the longer the calendar will be, which will require scrolling to see the end of day or the early hours.
– Calendar Working Hours: The working hours are the hours users normally schedule patients.
– The working hours will have the background color that is set up in the Working Hours calendar unit colors below.
– Calendar Visible Time: The visible time will be the earliest and latest time the calendar will be visible.
– This is important when you have an emergency patient after hours or start early for an office meeting.
– It helps review overtime as well.
– Calendar Unit Colors can be used if you want to set up special colors in the calendar to show for working and non-working hours, as well as for the current time.
– By default, the color for the Current Time is black. We suggest experimenting with them at a later time.
– Refresh Interval: If needed, you can change the refresh rate of the calendar.
– By default, this setting is 1 minute.
– This is how often the calendar refreshes to show changes.
– Users may not want to set this time too low as it can interfere with working on the calendar.
*For example, if you are in the middle of selecting time for an appointment and the calendar refreshes, your block will clear. However, users may want the increment fast enough where they see appointments other users are entering in a timely manner.
– On the right side under daily multi ops view, you will be able to customize the name of each tab in the calendar.
