Lesson

Calendar Columns Setup

– To customize your calendar, start by defining how many columns you want. The columns can be per doctor or per operatory, and the doctors can have more than one column.
– For example, one column for consults and another column for treatments!
– Go to Setup, Program Setup, Operatory Names and Order.
– Adjust the names of your operatory columns on the calendar and keep one for cancellations since TDO can move all canceled and rescheduled appointments to that column automatically if you would like.
– Use the next empty line to add more columns and use the first column to adjust the order they will be displayed in the calendar.
– For example, changing the number on the last column so the calendar will display the cancelled column at the end!
– Close the operatory names window after your changes.
– Now open the calendar to see your changes!
– If you wish your cancelled appointments to automatically move to the special column (this is actually recommended), go to Setup, Site Configuration, Edit Control Table, Application Settings.
– Under action on mark appointment – select the column you created for cancellations, no shows, and rescheduled appointments. If no changes were made to the calendar columns, no action is needed.
– Close the window and reopen your calendar to visualize your changes!
