I think this is a very nicely managed case and it is always nice to see specialists make the extra effort to bring difficult cases around and not quit just because they are difficult.
Having said that, my own experience with C-shaped lower molar re-treatments, is that when you look at them 10 years later, many of them are gone. I don’t know why, or if it is the C-shape that is particularly problematical, but whatever the reason(s), they haven’t stood the test of time—at least in my practice.

Thank you for your inputs Dr Gary. I haven’t been doing root canals that long, maybe I would get a similar end result in time with my C shapes as well. I think it’s mainly the thin Dentin and the periodontal compromise a fused root comes with. Thanks again for your input and time 🙂
